TIMOTHY WINEGARD, M.Sc.

Tim grew up in northern Ontario, and spent much of his youth as an aspiring scientist. This lead him to pursue degrees in Zoology and Geography. He has spent time at research facilities across Canada and the U.S., as well as Panama and the Galapagos islands. Tim's approach to learning and research resulted in collaborations at Harvard, MIT, UCLA and Chapman University. His passion for field-based learning has brought him to the University of Guelph, Bowdoin Scientific Station, Huntsman Marine Science's Center, Shoal's Marine Lab, and the Algonquin Wildlife Research Station. Field instruction and an affinity for finding wildlife in remote places lead Tim to advanced certifications and employment guiding both climbing and scuba-diving expeditions.
